What vytaltech.org stores on your device, and what it deliberately does not.

Short version. This website sets no cookies of its own. There is no analytics, no advertising, no social media tracking and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. The only third-party request the site makes is to Google Fonts for two typefaces.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store, so it can be read back on a later request. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage and tracking pixels — do a comparable job. In the UK their use is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) alongside the UK GDPR, which means non-essential storage requires your consent.
2. Cookies set by this website
None. vytaltech.org is built as static HTML, CSS and a single small JavaScript file. That script handles the mobile menu, the FAQ accordion, a scroll animation and the year in the footer. It writes nothing to cookies, local storage or session storage, and it sends nothing anywhere.

3. Third-party requests
Loading a page still involves a small number of network requests, and those requests reveal your IP address to whoever answers them. On this site there are two:

If you would rather not contact Google at all, a content blocker or a privacy-focused browser will block the font request. The site is designed to remain fully readable with system fonts if it does; nothing breaks.
4. If that ever changes
If we later add analytics, embedded video, a booking widget or anything else that stores information on your device beyond what is strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent through a banner before it loads, list it in the table above, and give you a way to change your mind. Strictly necessary storage — for example a token that keeps a client login working — would not require consent but would still be listed here.
5. Controlling cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies for any site through your browser settings. Because this site sets none, doing so will not affect how it works. The relevant settings are:
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Most browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” or global privacy control signal. We have nothing to switch off in response to it, but we honour the intent: we do not track visitors.
6. Cookies in systems we build
This policy covers vytaltech.org only. Software we build for clients frequently does need cookies — for sessions, security tokens or user preferences — and those are documented in the client's own cookie notice and consent mechanism, which we help design to meet PECR and UK GDPR requirements.
